Terms of Service

Last updated: July 28, 2026

By accessing VeinWatch or signing up for an account you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Service description

VeinWatch is an automated price-monitoring service that watches the spot prices of gold, silver, copper, aluminum, nickel, and zinc and emails you when a price crosses a threshold you have configured.

The price feed we use is on a 1-day delay for free-plan users of our upstream data provider. Live intraday prices are available on paid tiers once we move past the launch waitlist.

The service is informational. Nothing we send constitutes financial, investment, or trading advice.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Resell or redistribute the alert stream. The alert emails we send are for your own decision-making. You may not republish them, sell them, feed them into a paid product, or use them as a paid data feed for a third party without our written permission.

Scrape or replay the API. You may not scrape our public endpoints or replay recorded responses in bulk.

Reverse-engineer or copy the product. You may not decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, alert logic, or data-model of the service.

One account per user or team seat. Sharing login credentials across seats of the Operator or Enterprise plans is prohibited. Each seat is priced to be assigned to one named user.

You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use of the service.

3. Plans and billing

VeinWatch offers three paid tiers:

Trader — $49 / month. For individual traders. Includes up to 10 active alert rules across all six metals.

Operator — $149 / month. For mine operators and small trading desks. Includes up to 50 active alert rules, multi-user seats, and SMS delivery.

Enterprise — $499 / month. For institutional desks. Includes unlimited alerts, dedicated onboarding, and priority support.

Paid plans are billed monthly in USD via Stripe. You can cancel any time from the in-product dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the then-current billing cycle. We do not offer refunds for partial months or for periods in which you did not log in.

4. Service availability

We aim for best-effort uptime but do not guarantee that the service will be available without interruption. Scheduled maintenance, upstream price-feed outages, and the inherent unreliability of public SMTP delivery are all reasons a queued alert may be delayed or dropped.

Price correctness is contingent on the upstream metals feed. We do not independently verify the prices we receive, and we do not guarantee that an alert you receive will always reflect ground-truth market state. Alerts are advisory.

5. No financial advice

VeinWatch provides information, not advice. Nothing we send should be construed as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any commodity or any instrument that derives its price from a commodity. You are solely responsible for the trading and operational decisions you make based on our alerts.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VeinWatch's total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising out of or relating to the service is capped at the total amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, trading losses, or business interruption, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Termination

Either party can terminate the agreement at any time. You can cancel from the in-product dashboard. We can suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, if payment fails, or if we are legally required to do so.

On termination we delete your personal data within 30 days, except for records that Stripe must retain for accounting and tax purposes.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which VeinWatch is incorporated. The specific jurisdiction is to be confirmed with our legal counsel before launch and will be updated in this section at that time.

9. Changes to these terms

If we make material changes to these terms we will email active subscribers and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after a change becomes effective indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
